Comparison table of CreateInstall installers
The following distinctive features are common for all CreateInstall installers.
- Files of the Free and Light versions are completely compatible and can be exported to the full version of CreateInstall. It is therefore possible to use the Free version and then upgrade to the Light version or the full version without any problems.
- Installation packages use standard graphics. All dialog box resources are included as .res or .rс files. Furthermore, you are able to use your own icons and other graphics (logos).
- The exact same software module is used to create installation packages. The Gentee programming language is used as the script language. There are some open source texts that are compiled in the process of creating installation packages. However, only the necessary modules are used depending on the project settings.
