I tried for hours and I can't get the program files and desktop shortcut to work. In the Shortcut-Create the folder is PROGRAM GROUP (TARGET) and the shortcut name is #appname#. I tried #exename# and so on but the shortcut is not in the program files.

The same with DESKTOP, the icon shortcut is there but 0 byte and no target in properties.

The files are saved in program files\<program> but no click able shortcuts.

I am using the free version.

What parameters have you specified in Path and Filename fields?
For example, if you install myapp.exe then you should specify
Path: INSTALL PATH
Filename: myapp.exe
You can send your .ci project file to info@createinstall.com.

In target path I defined INSTALL PATH
and filename #exefile#

I have sent you the fixed .ci project file.
1. If you use .ico file you have to install it. I
have inserted it into Installation Files command.
Now your shortcuts must be with the custom icon.
2. You don't have to specify #exefile# as Filename
there. I changed it to myapp.exe but specify your
executable filename that you want to run.
