List of forum topicsSubject: general command that works in CMD - how to run?
Hi there,
I have another one i can't solve. I've searched the site a couple of times, but maybe the search terms are too general to yield useful results.
The problem is:
Running "powercfg -change -monitor-timeout-dc 0" in CMD works, of course. But how would i run that in the installer?
I tried
> "Run Application" Path: INSTALL PATH; Filename: powercfg; Command-Line Parameters: -change -montor-timeout-dc 0; Working directory" DEFAULT PATH
> "Shell Execute" Path: INSTALL PATH; Filename: powercfg -change -standby-timeout-dc 0; Run As Administrator: Yes;
It just doesn't change the setting as it does when i type the same command in cmd.
I think I'm using the wrong tools.
Custom Path: C:\Windows\System32\
Filename powercfg.exe
Working directory: CUSTOM PATH
Path: CUSTOM PATH
works. Why would it need that...it doesn't if you do it by hand. Oh well.
Path: CUSTOM PATH
Filename: powercfg.exe
Command line Parameters: -change -montor-timeout-dc 0
Working Directory: SYSTEM PATH
