Hi,

When using CreateInstall Assistant, can it be done that the icon for project output file (e.g. setup.exe) is extracted from a file that is on the list of project files (e.g. from main executable)? You can chose custom icon for output file, but it must be .ico . That way setup output file would have the same icon as main executable.

Also, the same thing for the icon that will be added to "Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Program List". Most icons there for installed programs have main executable icon listed, and not uninstaller icon.

When making shortcuts for files that will be added to Program Group ("Start - "Programs), there you can select .exe files to use their icon in program group.

Unfortunately, there is not such feature.

CreateInstall Advanced has 'Add to Add/Remove list' command where you can specify the custom icon for that list.
