Hi.

Is there a way to open or preview default dialog texts? This would be useful to make minor changes to default dialog texts if necessary.

For example if you want to make installer for open source program, then you would just remove that warning message from Welcome screen about copyright protection and criminal penalties for distribution. The rest of the text would be as it is.

If there isn't a way to preview default texts, the easiest way be to add default texts (with formatting) to help file. It could be copied then from help file to appropriate text field and edited there. That wouldn't need any coding work.

Unfortunately, there is not preview feature.
You can specify any text for all dialogs.
Also, you can find all language resources in the corresponding .lng file in CreateInstall/language subfolder and you can redefine any language resource with Language Resource command.

As suggested, I made an edited copy of .lng file in CreateInstall/language subfolder. Now I can use that edited copy as setup langauge even from CreateInstall Assistant, for quick project setups.

You can replace the current .lng file to yours. In this case, you should restore it after the updating of CreateInstall.
CreateInstall Assistant and Advanced use the same .lng files.
