I am having trouble using the «Import .REG File» for 64-bit installations. I am using CreateInstall V 5.10.0, and I see in the current release of CreateInstall there is an option to use the 64-bit version of regedit. Is that the source of my problem? Is there a work-around for me if I stick with V 5.10.0?
Unfortunately, version 5.10 doesn't have a 64-bit option in the 'Import .REG File' command.
1. You can update CreateInstall to the latest version with 50% discount.
2. Another way without updating. You can install the latest version somewhere in another folder and copy the following files into your version 5.10:
CreateInstall folder\cmds\cmds\regini\importreg.gt
CreateInstall folder\cmds\sources\importreg.g
CreateInstall folder\cmds\sources\redir64.g
Thank you very much for this suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I got copies of the files you listed from the free version of Create Install V5.17.0.
I then tried using a trial version of V5.17.0, to ensure that upgrading would resolve my issue, but I got a message saying that my trial license had expired.
Can you make any suggestions of what I might of done wrong in copying the files, or how I might get a copy of an unexpired trial version of 5.17.0?
Thanks for your support!
