When CreateInstall registers my uninstaller, it puts it in the registry here:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MyProgramName

However I have renamed my product, so when my users upgrade they see two entries to uninstall in the Programs control panel.

Can I tell CreateInstall to continue to use the old MyProgramName as the registry key?

Find the command 'Add to Add/Remove List' command in your Instal Script.
Specify what you need in 'Display Name' field there.

It's not the Display Name that I needed to change. I found that if I set

ar_name = OldName

then it works as I wanted.
