CreateInstall Assistant menu
Project
New - Create a new project.
Open - Open an existing project.
Recent Files - Open a recent project.
Save - Save the current project.
Save As - Save the current project with another name.
Advanced CreateInstall – When you choose this menu item, the main version of CreateInstall will launch. You will be asked a question: do you want to convert the current project or not? You can either just launch the advanced version or convert and load your current project into it.
Exit - Exit the program.
Setup
Build setup - Create installation program for the current project.
Run - Run the setup file. If the setup has not yet been created then the program builds it.
View Log File - Display the log information forthe most recently created installation.
Tools
Global variables - You can specify common Global preprocess variables for all your projects. CreateInstall Assistant and main versions use the same list of global variables.
Preferences - Some program settings.
Help
Help Topics - Open help topics.
